As part of our Launch on 27 May 2010, we asked the general public to log onto the Just Jhoom! website, learn the Launch Routine, teach it to their friends and family and then film themselves doing the routine. Video clips were uploaded from all over the country and from far afield as Australia too.
From a shortlist of three, the general public were asked to vote on the best, most unusual clip.
After three weeks of people Just Jhooming!, filming themselves and uploading their video clips – and one week of almost 300 votes cast on Facebook and YouTube, The Outdoor Instructors from Ewhurst in Surrey were declared winners!
Seven year old Amrita from Woking was a very close second with Saffire Dance of Cranleigh coming in at third.
The Outdoor Instructors were presented with a cheque for £50 by Just Jhoom!’s Director Shalini Bhalla.
"The Outdoor Instructors are worthy winners! They worked very hard on their clip and it was a fun, original and highly amusing interpretation of the Launch Routine,” said Shalini.
