Some of you may have heard of the free programme Compassionate Me – that I created with a group of friends. The programme which was launched in March 2016 originally attracted 100 people to practise compassion and meditate everyday.
Well, last week, I was invited to the Cranleigh C of E Primary School to introduce the programme to all the staff and students. The school has Feeling Good Week from 13 – 17 June 2016 and as part of the week, all the students will all make their own Paying it Forward cards, and practice acts of kindness over the week. Each day will start off with a morning meditation.
With 125 children in the Lower School (ages 4 – 7) and 185 children in the Upper School (7-11), together with staff, this will be the largest number of people to take part in the Compassionate Me programme.
I have recorded a special meditation for the children.
Here it is for you to share with all the young people in your life.
